NEW BICYCLES: All our new bikes come with a warranty which vary with each manufacturer. All new bicycles come with free servicing (to be used in the first 6 months from date of purchase and only available at Preloved Bikes). Free servicing must be used in the first 6 months from date of purchase. We do not offer any alternative to the free servicing offer. ALL new bikes purchased from Preloved bikes should be returned for a free inspection within 4 and 6 weeks depending on usage ( This is free of charge for bicycles purchased from Preloved Bikes and does not affect the free servicing offer). Warranties do not cover wear and tear, misuse, neglect, competition, accident, vandalism, tampered with by unqualified persons etc. Please refer to your manufacturer’s warranty for full details. New bicycles purchased online may not be in stock at Preloved bikes premises and may take up to 3 working days to be delivered from our Irish supplier. In most cases deliveries arrive next working day. New bicycles bought online are shipped boxed and some assembly will be required. Assembly should carried out by an experienced bicycle mechanic.
USED BICYCLES: All Our used bikes are sold fully serviced unless otherwise stated. We do not offer any warranty with used bikes. However if there is any problem that arises with a used bike purchased from us within 7 days of purchase we will endeavor to resolve the issue without cost to the customer.
BICYCLE RECYCLING: Because of the costs involved in bicycle recycling as of 18th March 2019 we can no longer offer the service.
RETURNS POLICY: Preloved Bikes only accept returns and/or exchanges on new, unused products with the original packaging. We do not accept returns on any item that has been used or original packaging removed unless proven to be faulty. We do not accept returns on special orders or parts, tools etc that have been used or installed. We will accept returns meeting manufacturers warranty criteria and replace faulty products.
TRADE INS – Preloved Bikes welcome trade ins against new bike purchases.We offer up to 20% trade in value. Trade in values are determined individually. WE DO NOT BUY BIKES.
STOCK AVAILABILITY – The products shown on this website represent the stock available to Preloved Bikes from our suppliers and from time to time may not be in stock with either us or our suppliers. It is in no way a comprehensive list of all products available to us so please ask if what you are looking for is not listed. Full retail prices are shown and correct at time of listing but may vary over time.
DELIVERY & RETURNS INFORMATION – Delivery charges are listed while you are going through the ‘checkout’ process. On some orders there will be no delivery charge. We use GLS Ireland for our national deliveries. Delivery will not be arranged until products or services are paid in full. We do do not offer a cash on delivery service. A signature will be required on delivery. If there is an issue with your item such as faulty or incorrect item please contact us regarding free collection.
Bicycles, parts and accessories ordered online or in-store may take up to 5 working days to be delivered. Delivery times may vary (eg Christmas, bank holidays etc may take longer). For updates or approximate delivery time please email us quoting your order reference number.
REPAIRS – Our repairs carry a 30 day guarantee. Warranty on parts used in repairs are as per manufacture. Repairs are mostly charged per job but we do have fixed prices for some repairs. In the event of further repair being required to your bicycle, you will be advised of the cost of repair before work is carried out.
PAYMENT METHODS AND DEPOSITS – We only accept cash payments. Goods are not released to the customer until paid for in full. Preloved Bikes require a non refundable deposit on all pre-order goods including new bicycles. Unless otherwise agreed a deposit will hold an item for 14 days. All deposits are non refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
All online payments are made through third party vendors such as PayPal. No personal or payment information used for purchases through our website is stored, shared or used by Preloved Bikes. In store and over the phone credit and debit card payments are processed using secure merchant services.
BIKE TO WORK – We no longer accept sales through the Bike To Work scheme.
