NEW BICYCLES – New Bikes come with warranty which vary with each manufacturer (For Example DEMA & Pure bikes bikes come with lifetime warranty). All new bicycles come with one years free servicing (Up to 4 services in the first 12 months from date of purchase and only available at Preloved Bikes). The service does not cover the cost of replacement parts should any be required. This will be covered by manufacturers warranty or the customer depending on reason for replacement of part(s). The free 1 year servicing must be used in the first 12 months from date of purchase. We do not offer any alternative to the 1 years free servicing offer. ALL new bikes purchased from Preloved bikes should be returned for a free inspection within 4 and 8 weeks depending on usage ( This is free of charge for bicycles purchased from Preloved Bikes and is not part of the 1 years free servicing offer)
USED BICYCLES: Used bicycles do not come with warranty but we do like to take care of our customers so if there is any problem that arises with a used bike purchased from us we will endeavour to resolve the issue without cost to you the customer. This does not cover damage caused by misuse or accident. Parts used in such repairs may be charged to the customer.
SAVERS CLUB: Our savers club runs all year round and there are no charges or interest. Every cent you pay to your savers account goes to the product you are saving against. Please see above for section regarding pre-ordered products and section regarding pre-orders.
RETURNS POLICY: Preloved Bikes only accept returns and/or exchanges on new, unused products with the original packaging. We do not accept returns on any item that has been used or original packaging removed unless proven to be faulty.
Preloved Bikes do not accept returns on special orders or tools, car racks, parts etc that have been used or installed. We will accept returns meeting stated criteria and replace faulty products. For products purchased through the Bike to Work scheme or financed the terms and conditions of the bike to work scheme/finance agreement will be adhered to where returns or product repair/replacement is requested.
ASSEMBLY REQUIRED – Bicycles purchased online and delivered by third party couriers will arrived boxed and will have some assembly required. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure bicycles are assembled correctly and safely. We recommend your local bicycle shop.
TRADE INS – Preloved Bikes welcome trade ins and the value of the trade in is determined by condition and size of the bicycle. We give up to 20% trade in value against a second hand bike. Trade in values against new bicycles are determined individually.
WE BUY BIKES – On occasion we do buy used bicycles. We do not have set prices for purchasing bicycles and the value of the bicycle will be determined case by case. The seller will be required to furnish photo ID and proof of address. You’re information is not shared with third parties.
The products shown on this website represent the stock available to Preloved Bikes from our suppliers and from time to time may not be in stock with either us or our suppliers. It is in no way a comprehensive list of all products available to us so please ask if your item is not listed. Full retail prices are shown and correct at time of listing but may vary over time.

DELIVERY INFORMATION – We do offer local delivery on orders over €50 (delivery times are depending on availability of the Preloved Bikes van and driver). Special orders and orders under €50 will have a small delivery charge (Maximum €10). Delivery times can be between 9am to 9pm 7 days a week (Except Bank Holidays etc) and an approximate time of delivery will be given where possible. Delivery will not be arranged until products or services are paid in full. A signature will be required on delivery.

Pre-ordered bicycles, parts and accessories (ordered online or in-store), may take approx 5 working days to be delivered to Preloved Bikes, Celbridge, and a further 2 or 3 days to be deliverd to you. Delivery times may vary (eg Christmas etc may take longer). This includes bicycles and accessories ordered through the Bike to Work Scheme or financed.
BIKES FOR BERNARDOS – We collect old or unwanted bikes for recycling. Barnardos generally only request kids bikes but in some cases there may be the need for larger bikes for teenagers or parents for getting to school etc. Recycled bikes are either used for parts or repaired to a safe, roadworthy condition. Some of the bikes collected are repaired and sold but the profit from these sales is only used to fund repairs for our Bikes For Barnardos. IN SHORT: When you give us a bike for Barnardos, either the bike, parts from the bike or the proceeds from the sale of the bike will go to repairing bikes for Barnardos.
REPAIRS – All of our repairs carry a 30 day guarantee but in some cases a repair is carried out at a customer request that can not be guaranteed. Warranty on parts used in repairs are as per manufacture. Repairs are charged per job. In the event of further repair being required to your bicycle, you will be advised of the cost of repair before work is carried out. Because of our limited storage space and the high demand on our repair service, repaired bikes must be collected within 3 days. After which a storage charge of €2 per day will be incurred.
PAYMENT METHODS AND DEPOSITS – We accept cash, credit card, PayPal, bank transfer and cheque payments. Goods are not released to the customer until non cash payments (cheque, bank transfer, bike to work voucher etc) has reached our bank account. Preloved Bikes accept deposits on all new and used bikes. 50% deposit is required on all pre-order goods. In the event goods are ordered specifically for the customer the deposit is non refundable. Unless otherwise agreed a deposit will hold an item for 14 days. All deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed and stated on your receipt.
For safety and security purposes our premises is monitored by 24 hour monitored CCTV recording.
